FREE phone app, Upbra Helps Women select the correct bra size

Upbra, just released a new FREE phone app that allows users to get simple and accurate bra size measurements via a basic questionnaire. The new app takes the guessing game out of choosing the correct bra size, all in the comfort and privacy of your own home. Please see the release and images below, and let me know if interested in covering this for any relevant stories you’re working on. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing back!

Sacramento–based lingerie company, Upbra, released their latest product enabling consumers to get their bra size after taking four measurements in a new app. The free phone application is currently available in beta form in the Google Play Store, and is compatible with the major Android phones. The link for the Android app is at www.upbra.com/app.htm. It will be in the Apple app store soon, but for now, Apple users, as well as Android users, can both get it directly from the Upbra website at upbra.com/app.htm.

While several phone apps have been introduced requiring the use of measuring tapes, the Upbra Bra Sizing App is the first and only app that does not involve using a tape, or anything else, other than the phone app itself. The company took measurement data from over 1,500 women during the development of Upbra bras and combined it with even more data provided by customers to create the quickest and easiest to use bra size device available. Since Upbra bras use standard US sizing, the app results can be used for many bra brands. In addition, consumers who use the test app to determine their size are guaranteed their correct fit in the Upbra store, i.e. Upbra will reimburse their postage for the return until they get the correct size.

The app was developed to address the issues of speed, the fact that phones have built in computers now, and the app also addresses significant concerns about how consumers can get simple bra measurements without feelings of uneasiness. Standing in a small dressing room and getting measured by a stranger doesn’t always allow for a comfortable experience.

As such, the new app fills a gap that’s been overlooked. According to Ron Redenius, the CEO at Upbra, “The new bra sizing app is great because it’s a complete measuring system in a phone. No more charts, no more measuring tape, no more confusion. Our new Upbra Bra Sizing App yields specific sizes from each user, allowing for a custom measurement, via a very simple 4 step process.”

The app was developed to be as user friendly as possible. To start, Android users can download the app from the Google Play Store (Apple users can use the app directly from the upbra.com website), then the user is instructed to wear either an unlined/unpadded bra or no bra at all, place the base of the phone under their breast, and select the zone that best matches the outline of their breast. Then they answer a few questions and get their bra size without any hassle. Last, and most importantly, users can purchase their favorite Upbra, which is only a click away via a button on the app. To get the app for most iPhones and Android phones, visit https://www.upbra.com/app/. Additionally, Android users can go to the Android store to try the Beta release at https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.upbra.sizing.
