Check out the Game of Thrones fans got a first look at the new Game of Thrones jewelry collection earlier this month, and now MEY DESIGNS is ready to reveal the full line. DragonStorm, a Sterling Silver collection featuring jewelry and accessories seen on and inspired by the character Daenerys Targaryen, is available now and includes several brand new pieces revealed in the final episodes of Series 6. The collaboration between Emmy®-winning costume designer Michele Clapton and Yunus Ascott and Eliza Higginbottom of Yunus & Eliza first came about as Clapton was designing Daenerys’s costumes for Series 5 of the show. She realized that in order to complete the looks she would need some strong, sculptural, iconic pieces of jewelry to represent her elevated yet fragile status.
As the pieces they created were revealed throughout the season, fans started inquiring about where they could purchase their favorite pieces, inspiring the trio to create MEY DESIGNS and make that dream into reality. DragonStorm, created in conjunction with HBO Global Licensing, finally gives fans the chance to own authentic replicas of the iconic accessories previously only seen on screen, as well as brand new designs inspired by the show.
