On Friday, October 4th, 2013, the Driven By Design producing team consisting of Alumni from the Fashion Institute of Fashion Design & Merchandising (FIDM), will host an ULTRA GLAM design consortium experience, set to kick off this years Los Angeles fashion month of runway shows. The couture designer runway presentations, intertwined with emerging designer installations will be an amazing experience for all fans of style to get excited about this fall. The star style venue spotlight will be set at the L.A. Mart for the design communities to embrace.
Lori A. Neal, Principal of Diamond Interiors LA will create the signature “Eye Candy” venue layout for the fashion runway, designer lounges and the overall ultimate atmosphere where the media, celebrity talent, buyers and corporate executives will come together for this years new fashion experience in Los Angeles this fall.
The count down starts now, “Driven By Design” will set a new tone for a new addition to the L.A fashion week atmosphere. Get ready for a new diverse world of designers merging together as one. Designers, creative individuals and diverse corporate brand partners are encouraged to connect with the producing team of Driven By Design. It’s all about L.A. Fashion month this fall.
Our beauty partners are Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics and Brambila Salon. The creator Napoleon Perdis has transformed the faces and lives of women for over 20 years. Our star style fashion designers taking center stage on the runway is the Dina Bar-El collection. For over three decades, Dina has catered to women with a discerning taste for quality and an eye for fashion. Dina has skillfully worked in leather, knits and sportswear and quickly grew her talents into a multimillion dollar enterprise. Dina’s shift in focus was validated in 2003 when Kate Hudson famously wore a yellow DINA BAR-EL gown in “How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days,” which catapulted her to a new level of success. THAI NGUYEN (Tie-Win), Fashion Designer/Stylist. Thai graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in 2002. Following graduation, he earned the title of associate designer for BCBG Max Azria, which he held through 2004. Known for his convertible evening gown creations on the TV show, Thai was a finalist on Bravos Launch My Line. Thai was also a fashion designer/contributor on RuPauls Drag Race Season 2 and is currently working with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Adrienne Maloof and Brandi Glanville. Los Angeles based fashion designer Brian “BK” Phillips draws inspiration from life’s adventures. His 2014 Spring Summer collection is in full effect on the runway this season. In 2010, BK Phillips Designs launched to vast community in the television and film to selling is collection in specialty apparel boutiques across the country.
