I had the pleasure of connecting with Tamala Jones about her sense of fashion in shoes, clothes, jewelry, her favorite brand cosmetics and so much more. Lets dive into the fabulous world of style with TV’s hottest medical examiner, Tamala Jones of the #1, ABC Drama series and winner of the 2013 People’s Choice Awards’ for “Favorite TV Crime Drama” CASTLE. She is know as the sassy, sarcastic, sexy coroner, “Lanie Parish,” who puts her talents to use on best friend, “Kate Beckett’s” strangest cases!
When it comes to handbags, her FAB 5 Favorite designers are: Zagliani, Louis Vutton, Hermes, Channel and the YSL black clutch. Tamala states, I adore the Chanel classic flat handbag, a girl can never go wrong with moving around the city, at an award show or just in general out on the town with a black leather Chanel.
Tamala’s favorite colors are in the color family of red, black, hot pink, corals and tangerine. She shared that its great to have bright colors added to your wardrobe to add more life than just wearing the classic black from day to day. She likes to add color into the mix when dressing up for an award show and or dinner party.
In todays world we are presented with many celebrity brand perfumes. Tamala shared, If she were selected to be apart of a perfume ad campaign, the five perfumes that captivate the essence of who she is would be: Angel perfume by Thierry Mugler, Clive Christian perfume for women (sold at Nieman Marcus), Tuberose Jo Malone for Women, Kai Eau de Parfum Spray and L’Artisan Parfumeur Mimosa. Lets just say Tamala knows what scents work to captivate an audience.
We all know, women learn to shop and become experts in their sense of style by the time she is in college. If not, she just needs to hire a stylist. With that stated, I asked Tamala to share her five favorite places when loves to shop. Number one her list is Amazon, that’s right folks, I said it, Amazon. She states, “you can find some great styles, when you take the time and look”. Second on her shop list is asos.com. She shares they have great designer deals, third up is a store called Intermix located on Robertson Blvd in Los Angeles, The Outnet based online and Nordstorm.
Tamala has a great sense of fashion and prefers to shop for the best price, be it online and or at a great specialty store. Having good shopping business sense is a must in this day and time. When asked about her beauty regimen, five popular brands work for her daily needs: Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo, Spa Glow day crèmes filled with tons of vitamins, Bobby Brown foundation, MAC lip gloss in a variety of shades and Channel mascara and eyeliners.
In relation to her style, she is a big fan of Jenny Packham, Versace, Chanel, herve leger and tempest dresses. As for shoe brands, her five favorites are manolo blahnik, giuseppe shoes, Christian Louboutin shoes, Brian Atwood shoes and jimmy choo. – Report By Lela Christine
