EXPRESS “FASHION STAR” WINNING LOOKS EPISODE 7: NIGHT OUT ON THE TOWN

The theme for the seventh episode of NBC’s “Fashion Star” was “A Night out on the Town,” and design competition contestants Daniel Silverstein, Silvia Arguello, and JesseRay Vasquez and Garrett Gerson all created sexy, going-out styles that impressed Express buyer Erika De Salvatore. Silverstein really “nailed the Express customer” according to De Salvatore, with “an amazing back cut-out, perfect color choice and exposed zipper.” The sexy, fitted style is available in both guard and black, and retails for $69.90.

Arguello’s two-piece look created from wallet-friendly (minus the) leather features elegant seaming, tonal hues and belled-out button sleeves, combined for a luxe look. When paired with the matching skirt, “it’s the ultimate Express girl look” says De Salvatore, “a fun, flirty shape with tough, edgy construction.” The Italian-inspired jacket retails for $128; the matching skirt for $69.90.

The softly sculpted shape of the blouse created by design team Vasquez and Gerson features “an incredibly smooth hand feel and a unique tuck-front detail for a look that pairs perfectly with the Palazzo Pant” explains to De Salvatore. With a “sexy slit up both sides, there is the illusion of a skirt” she continues, “with lots of sex appeal!” Available in green, the Drape Blouse retails for $39.90, while the Palazzo Pant in navy retails for $59.90.
