Riviera 31 is proud to present work from “Elles,” an art exhibition dedicated to Women by the World Famous French Photographer Gilles Bensimon. This collaboration showcases 25 portraits of women from Arts & Fashion industry premiering at four Sofitel properties across the US- these have NEVER BEFORE BEEN SEEN IN THE USA. The black and white photography currently showcased in Riviera 31 will be replaced and transformed into a pop up exhibit for work by Bensimon featuring portraits of A-list celebrities including Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Claudia Schiffer, Christy Turlington and Gisele Bundchen, Madonna, Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Reese Witherspoon, Halley Berry, Uma Thurman and many more! As an international ambassador of French culture, Sofitel is excited to launch the latest exhibition, “elles” in collaboration with world-famous French photographer Gilles Bensimon.
This initiative was born from a desire to celebrate women. Including Catherine Deneuve, to Audrey Hepburn, Charlize Theron, Cindy Crawford,or Beyoncé and many others, the exhibition highlights Gilles Bensimon’s most influential works never before displayed in the United States. “I like to take my pictures fast. Fly-on-the-wall! As if not working…” comments Gilles Bensimon who has dedicated most of his iconic “oeuvre” photographing exceptional women to reveal their natural grace, poetry and inner beauty. “Everything good in my life comes from women because I love them.
