More About Lea Marie
Growing up in Santa Barbara, the American Rivera, I have been surrounded by nature and beauty, both from the mountains and the sea. This along with my fascination of traveling to exotic places, aided in my obsession with alluring colors, interesting shapes, facets and texture. In college I studied fine art, design and fashion. Later I began morphing my talent of painting and art, along with fashion, and began creating jewelry. I love the hands on micro approach to working with the malleable metals and the alluring gemstones.
My background in Art and Fashion design, and a passion for color and textures found in nature, work together to influence my creations. I love the uniqueness of natural gemstones, the sheen of gold and silver against different skin tones, and utilizing bold colors. I love how layering and adding jewelry to a simple outfit can transform it and evoke beauty and emotion.
