Dubai Fashion Week SS26: Global Designers Illuminate Day Two with Creativity and Craftsmanship

Dubai Fashion Week SS26

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 3 September 2025: Dubai Fashion Week (DFW) Spring/Summer 2026 continued its spectacular journey last night with a dynamic lineup of global designers. As the region’s definitive fashion event, co-founded by Dubai Design District (d3) and the Arab Fashion Council (AFC), DFW once again demonstrated its strength as a cultural platform where creativity, craftsmanship, and international perspectives converge. Running until 6 September, the shows reinforced Dubai’s role as a global fashion hub.

Day Two opened with FLTRD, followed by remarkable showcases from Erick Bendaña, Fioletowy Studio, Chic & Holland, and Maison Novague—each leaving audiences inspired by their artistry and vision.

Day Two Show Highlights

  • FLTRD
Opened the evening with “FLTRD Brings Bold Voices and New Perspectives to Dubai Fashion Week.” The showcase featured labels ARAD and I AM, underlining the platform’s dedication to creativity, craftsmanship, and amplifying emerging voices across the Middle East.

  • Erick Bendaña
Presented “The Sun and The Moon”, a couture collection inspired by cosmic dualities of light and shadow. Golden gowns embodied solar radiance, while shimmering silver pieces reflected lunar mystery. Each piece, enriched with Nicaraguan cultural heritage and accented by jewelry designed with Michelle Ferrer, transformed the runway into a celestial universe.

  • Fioletowy Studio
Debuted with “Elevation”, a collection symbolizing resilience and transformation. Supermodel Lisa Haydon closed the show as the radiant showstopper. Handcrafted in India from pure silk, the collection combined architectural lines with cascading ruffles, highlighting sustainability, storytelling, and craftsmanship.

  • Chic & Holland
The Dutch couture house unveiled “300 Hours”, a regal collection named for the painstaking time invested in each gown. Crystal embellishments, sculpted corsetry, and European baroque-inspired silhouettes reflected luxury, strength, and elegance.

  • Maison Novague
Showcased “L’Écriture du Corps”, a couture collection blending art and fashion. With fluid silks, sculpted forms, and a rich palette of ivory, scarlet, and midnight navy, designer Fariba Pourkhajani emphasized timeless femininity and strength through simplicity.

Italian Influence

As part of DFW’s program, ITA (Italian Trade Agency) x Level Shoes hosted a special exhibition spotlighting Italian craftsmanship. Italian designers including Valentina Poltronieri, Le Twins, D-Exterior, Gil Santucci, Avant Toi, and Be Nina also took center stage during Italian Day in Dubai.

DFW thrives through collaborations with leading global partners, including:

  • SOUEAST – Automotive Partner

  • Dyson – Official Hair Technology Partner

  • Kiko Milano – Official Makeup Partner

  • Waldorf Astoria – Hospitality Partner

  • Meta – Main Media Partner

Additional support came from Electra, Magnum, OHVU, Fiji Water, Grow Healthy Food, and Etcetera, ensuring the event’s seamless production.
