Beauty, Fashion, Innovative L.A. Brand Creators At Santa Monica Place Shine at The Lux Life Holiday POP-UP Shop. As we move into the Holiday season, shopping centers and malls across America are starting to come back to life as shoppers begin to slowly re-enter their doors following almost two years of heavy online shopping. In-person shopping has once again returned back to America and this has been a cause for celebration for both the shopper and the store owners.
This joy was on full display this past Saturday, December 11th, 2021, at the Santa Monica Place Shopping Center at an event called the Luxury Lifestyle Pop-Up. The event, staged by Lela Christine through her 501c3 organization called Lifestyle Elevation Media Foundation, was a dazzling display of amazing products fussed with a diverse body of shoppers and independent small business owners ranging from seasoned entrepreneurs to first-time natural hair and skincare business owners like Tameka Burnett. When asked why she felt it was important for her to feature her product line called Blessed From The Roots at this pop-up, Tameka responded, “Lela has been such an amazing mentor to me so when she presented the chance to introduce my company to the world, I knew it would be a perfect opportunity”.
Tameka was right. This pop-up was a perfect opportunity for her to display her product to patrons eager to buy from small business owners like herself and to co-mingle with both new and more seasoned, small business owners. One seasoned owner, Kareem Cook of Naturade, said “he believed pop-up stores like Lela’s was an invaluable opportunity for business owners that lack the resources to own a brick-and-mortar store to connect with potential customers on a more personal level”. Naturade has successfully been in the marketplace for over 10 years.
A few of the other business owners, such as One Eco Store (all-natural handmade gifts), came to life just over the past two years. In fact, several business owners at this incredible pop-up were new business owners who had decided, like many other Americans during this pandemic, to take their destiny into their own hands and start a business that reflected their respective passions.This holiday pop-up featured an amazing array of brand creators such as BASIC Couture Designer collections from: (Rafinad, Fervenzi, Alie & Alexander and KEEYAHRI Shoes), Vince Pharoah, One Eco Store, PURE ENVY Candle Collection, Positive Wear, Wealth N’ Hellness, Pintas Jewelry, Blessed From The Roots, Honey Nail Glam Inc. and a plethora of amazing artisans business located in Los Angeles County. Lela Christine was ecstatic about the pop-up’s results. Moreover, Lela reported that the participating business owners and the mall’s management were all overjoyed at the results of the pop-up.
