“Her designs tend have an emphasis on 3 dimensionality and structure. Architecture has also made me aware of how something is deconstructed” said Cheron Drawing inspiration from her travels abroad as a member of an operatic touring company, Cheron was able to tap into the cultural influences of Rome, Florence, and Venice to craft versatile and architecturally defined structured handbags. Armed with know-how, self-training and a degree in the visual arts she embarked on a journey to interpret the juxtaposition of “Form meets Function”. Challenging conventional design techniques Cheron persevered to create utilitarian leather and satin bags that bridge the gap between a woman’s style and her everyday needs. These innovate handbags reverse to reveal another one-of-a-kind creation.
Each bag has been named for a woman that Cheron recognizes as inspirational leaders who have surpassed obstacles and broken the glass ceiling to serve as role models to young woman.
