Office Depot is determined to make the home/commercial office environment much more inspirational as Americans go back to work. The leading office supply retailing company is debuting the collaboration between Elizabeth Sutton Collection and the Raynor Group – a collection of office desk chairs that are both shockingly beautiful and extremely comfortable.
Each desk chair features fabrics and patterns from Elizabeth’s best-selling patterns and designs including foliage and floral patterns to monochromatic geometric graphics. Nature-inspired chairs bring the outside in. Retail prices are approximately $259 to $399.
Elizabeth Sutton said, “My new line of desk chairs are completely disruptive. There is nothing like them in the marketplace. The American consumer is ready for high energy and positive vibes in their lives, especially in their work environments. People need inspiration these days. I can’t wait for the Office Depot customer to see how we combined contemporary designs with ergonomic comfort, at affordable prices. This is totally revolutionary.”
Marc Fries, President of Raynor, added, “The workplace needs a dramatic change in appearance. What worked before the pandemic doesn’t necessarily work now for people who are hungry for a positive atmosphere. They want to be inspired as they restart their careers. The new line will help them be more creative, innovative, and motivative.”
Building on the growing work-from-home trend, business executive Jeremy Frenkel, introduced Elizabeth to the Raynor Group to discuss a partnership. With Raynor’s expertise in the industry and Sutton’s attention to design integrity, the partnership sought to fill a new need in the marketplace, to bring more comfort and joy to our daily lives while working through uncertain times. From seat covers to contours and custom metal casters, Elizabeth considered every possible element to make office chairs more design conscious. Keen attention to detail, quality materials, and thoughtful touches are all hallmarks of the Wynwood and Gramercy chair series, featuring designs inspired by two of Elizabeth’s favorite neighborhoods in Miami and New York City—her twin homes. The collection includes 12 SKUs, as customers can choose between black and white bases, and silver and gold details.
Elizabeth Sutton recent creative collaborations include MOKE on St. Barth’s, TileBar, Janovic, The Whale, a high-concept office building in Brooklyn, NY, Raynor Office Furniture, clutches for Bari, and ongoing projects with the Eden Rock Hotel in St. Barths, Bari Lynn Accessories for Bergdorf Goodman, and an artistic partnership with beverage chain Joe & the Juice and IDrinkKosher.com.
