The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Taipei Introducing A Haute Couture Skin Program. In collaboration with Biologique Recherche, The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Taipei is introducing a bespoke . The first spa in Taiwan to offer this exclusive, six-month facial treatment plan using skincare products individually formulated for each guest by Biologique Recherche’s laboratory in France.
The premium Haute Couture experience begins at The Spa with a skin assessment conducted by Dr Philippe Allouche, MD and Head of Creation of Biologique Recherche. Flying in from Paris he will use a Skin Instant Lab machine to measure hydration, sebum ratios, water loss, skin elasticity, firmness, and depth of wrinkles. The Biologique Recherche laboratory uses the results to develop a treatment box of custom-made serums and creams for a personalised facial programme within the Spa, as well as products to use at home.
The skin is assessed on a monthly basis at the spa using the Skin Instant Lab machine, and results are analysed with Dr Allouche’s specialists in France, who prepare a new treatment box to treat changing skincare needs. At the completion of the six month Haute Couture experience, Dr Allouche will fly in from Paris to give a final assessment, deliver finishing touches to newly restored skin and provide recommendations for maintaining results accomplished over the programme.
