Titanium Druzy Collection of Necklaces Celebrities Say Yes To

Candice D’Mello, founder of Vitrine Designs (http://www.vitrine.etsy.com), has been feeling the love after her company’s star turn at GBK’s Luxury Gift Lounge in Honor of the 2014 Golden Globes Nominees & Presenters, where the handcrafted jewelry designer’s Titanium Druzy Collection of Necklaces were showcased on display and gifted to celebrities and press stopping by The Artisan Group® exhibit. The GBK Gift Lounge took place January 10-11 on the Rooftop Terrace of the L’Ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

For this star-studded, pre-Globes gifting event, Candice was asked by arts promotion organization The Artisan Group® to design 100 individually packaged gifts for their sought after celebrity swag bag, as well as 10 gifts for press swag bags. In addition, she designed a display piece to introduce Vitrine Designs to guests stopping by The Artisan Group exhibit. Candice recounts her Golden Globes journey here.

Recipients of the celebrity swag bag found nestled inside Candice’s signature raw gemstone Druzy quartz necklaces in Raindrop (blue), Rock (silver) or Rose (pink). Individuals receiving the press swag bag were gifted the necklace in Raindrop or Rock. The necklaces spotlight a titanium-finish Druzy quartz wire-wrapped in silver and suspended on a silver chain.

The gifts were presented carefully packaged in a white box embellished with ribbon and a hand-written note from Candice, all placed inside a fuchsia organza gift bag.

“I love the idea of having raw gemstones as focal jewels; they’re dainty yet bold enough to be worn on their own, providing interest and intrigue at the same time,” noted Candice when asked about her inspiration. “I first started making these sparklers in 2008 and decided they would be perfect for the Golden Globes, especially since ‘rock’ gemstone necklaces are being seen on the runway and will continue to trend for 2014.”

To date, Candice has received thank you tweets from Elena Sanchez (“Hunger Games”), Mateus Ward (“Hostages”), Dylan Neal (“Arrow”, “Bones”), Rebecca Field (“The Client List”), “Kirsten Nelson (“Psych”) and Sufe Bradshaw (“Veep”). Comments have included, “Stylish,” “a perfect piece of art” and “I love the duality of the piece.”

The Titanium Druzy Quartz Necklace, along with other designs, is available at vitrine.etsy.com. Capsule collections can be seen at thatspretty.co.uk and wish.com.

In other news, a necklace created by Candice for The CW Network’s “The Vampire Diaries” has been selected for use on an upcoming episode; more details to come.

Vitrine Designs jewelry has been included in The Artisan Group celebrity gift bags for GBK’s 2013 Primetime Emmys Gift Lounge, where its Carnelian Gemstone Earrings with turquoise, lapis lazuli and coral were gifted to Camille Grammer and Joyce Girraud (“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”), Lesley Nichol (“Downton Abbey”), Meghan Ory (“Once Upon a Time”) and Emmy winner Tony Hale (“Veep”), among others.

For The Artisan Group swag bag at GBK’s Luxury Gift Lounge for 2013 New York Fashion Week, Candice gifted a faceted jasper gemstone cocktail ring, which has subsequently been worn by Simone Heng, co-host at Digital Fashion Week in Singapore and by Aishwarya Ajit, presenter of StudioOneLive at Dubai One TV.
